Jacob turned the big 0-5 on the 20th and it was a big fire rescue related day. As most of you know Jake loves anything having to do with firetrucks, be it fire stations, fire hydrants, fire alarms, extinguishers, fire doors....etc. So for his birthday it was only right that he have a firetruck cake, a fireman costume, fire chief badge balloons, and a firetruck. Jessica pitched in with the rescue effort and got him a doctor's kit which he used on everybody and gave everyone a clean bill of health...except for Tommy, he said Tommy had to go to the doctor because he threw up. And, thank you to Sam and Theo who made Jake some wood cutout things that he loves and we are going to hang on his wall. The picture of the big firetruck that Jake is sitting in is from Aunt Jessica's visit over New Years. Best of all, Jake got snow for his birthday, a rarity in Jacksonville, and got to miss two days of school....how cool is that?? So, Happy birthday to you Jake. We are so glad that Heavenly Father gave you to us. You are such a sweet boy and we are proud to be your Mommy and Daddy.
(a little side note to please Jake's bossom buddy. Jake shares a birthday with his very special Aunt Martha. They have had the pleasure of sharing the same special day for 5 years now and look forward to many more. Happy birthday to you both....sorry Martha, love you!!!)
